FfaA and TAiM are my two favorite bands. Period. Malevolence is the bloody icing on this macabre dessert and I'm ever-famished for more.

def my aoty from 2023. Extreme, almost proggy metal with some of the most topical lyricism in this post 2020 world. Beautiful, modulated vocals help paint a very bleak world, with the sing song nature of the choruses in a lot of the tracks making them undenyingly fun sing-a-longs. But those guitars , bass, DRUMS...all mixed to BRUTAL perfection. An instant classic, and better than like 80% of all previous metal ever recorded, even CD's previous efforts. iheartf2p

This album is insane. Insanely good. This is my first Archspire album. Never listened tech death metal before so I was surprised a lot. The creation, the art they have put in this album is just mind blowing. Thanks guys for this! Attila Racz

This is so engaging and consuming and entertaining. Absolutely amazing work, every instrument is a joy to listen to, the composition leaves room for everyone in the band to shine through, whilst the instruments all complement each other spectacularly. A truly breathtaking album! NATHAN ASHTON

Pity that I could not find the deluxe edition with LoG's Laid to Rest. Nevertheless I wanted to add Elegy to my BC collection. It's unique as it is a delightful mix of symphony and deathcore. The vocals are just the perfect "5th element" that allows both styles to intertwine perfectly. Ben Duerr is the perfect vocalist for this role. The Elegy trilogy at the end is just the apotheose of death-gasm, it's a good trip down to memory lane as I've seen S.O.I. live last year! sashavonkarl74
